Marla is trained and certified in Oncology massage, cupping therapy, sound therapy and pregnancy massage, relaxation massage, and some Thai stretching. Her many years of experience at The Alderbrook Spa and Resort, along with her experience in Medical Massage, Spa Therapies and Wellness – Spiritual Massage allows her to work on wide range of people with different stresses and ailments. Marla is passionate about working with veterans with PTSD and helping people with emotional trauma who want to explore their inner spiritual healing to create a healthy body and mind connection. Her experience is the perfect balance of physical and spiritual therapies provide each individual client with a unique, nurturing and healing experience. Marla incorporates essential oils, steamed towels, warm stones, tuning forks and a grounded energy approach to create a heart centered massage that allows clients to feel safe, secure and relaxed. She enjoys facilitating massage experiences that allows clients to let go of all the daily stress that life throws at them.
Marla has recently been certified and registered with the State of Washington in BodyMind Bridge Therapy. She is also provider for most health insurance including Regence.
