Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the organs, glands and systems of the body. A compressive massage is used on these areas to stimulate the movement of energy to the nerve supply and to increase circulation. This carries oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and carries waste away. Improved circulation can result in decreased muscle tension and soreness, and reduced swelling from injuries and illness.
