I received my massage therapy training at Natural Health Institute in Nashville and finished in December 2002. I moved my practice from a local hair salon to the cabin in April, 2004. I have massage training in Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, chair massage, massage for the terminally ill, BreemanBodywork, accupressure, chair massage, prenatal and infant massage.
I have lived in Mt. Juliet for sixteen years and am excited that I have the opportunity to now work here as well. I believe that my medical knowledge and nursing experience serve as a great asset in my massage therapy practice. My goal for Sense of Serenity is to help people restore their bodies to its maximum potential from injury, to prevent illness from stress, and to find a sense of peace through total relaxation. In all my experiences, I have found that nothing so greatly effects a persons well being as Human Touch.

Hello, my name is Cathy Newman. I am a registered nurse (R.N.) and a licensed massage therapist and I provide therapeutic massage in a log cabin in Mt. Juliet, TN. I have worked in the medical field for the past 30 years, and I have worked as a Registered Nurse for the last 17 years. In my nursing career, I have worked in the areas of home health, general medical, medical-surgical, oncology, sub-acute, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and psychiatric nursing. I have also worked as a case manager for patients with bleeding disorders and I have taught CPR classes.
