Kent Anderson literally saved my life. I have seen him for many years. He is the only therapist I have ever connected with or helped me with my myriad of mental health problems. In reading the review above, I will agree that Dr. Anderson does talk a lot. But that's what I find so helpful. He gets right to the root of the problem. He is not a therapist that "dances" around issues and he won't sugar coat anything. I really like his direct approach to therapy. I find him extremely down to earth and authentic. He is a person I can open up to and talk honestly with. The only thing that concerns me a little is that the front desk is situated right next to his office and his wife is his receptionist. I wonder how much she can hear of our sessions. She is warm and friendly and I really like her. Sometimes I find she isn't there, but again...this doesn't bother me too much. I'm there to see Dr. Anderson, not his receptionist. I would refer Kent Anderson to anyone who is struggling with any mental health issues. He is a professional who knows his stuff and has the experience to back it.

Honestly I had really high hopes for Dr. Anderson, but after visiting with him for a few months I realized he was not a good fit for me.. He spent a LOT of time talking about himself, and he manipulated me into thinking things that were untrue and honestly harmful. As a side note, I've been making payments to him for the last few months from my time seeing him, and his secretary (2nd wife) IS NEVER there to answer the phone. And I mean NEVER there. This month alone I have called to pay my balance over 12 times and she hasn't answered the phone yet. I am not impressed.

I am leaving this review just to warn others against choosing him as a therapist. I found him more damaging than helpful, and his staff is a nightmare.
