A place that truly cares more about making money than helping people.

Basically, if you have a mental disorder that requires medication, this facility REQUIRES that you see a therapist once a week. While I understand that speaking with someone may be helpful to some, I personally don't benefit from it. I called to make an appointment with my doctor and was told I was "terminated" because I didn't make an appointment with my therapist.

So, basically, I am being denied medication I need because I refuse to pay extra money for a service that is useless to me.

Let me also add that this place services both those with mental health issues and people with substance abuse problems--I feel that they fail to see the difference between the two. When I requested medication that was appropriate for my disorder (I don't have a substance abuse problem) they looked at me like I asked them for illicit drugs.

Bottom line? This facility really fails to understand that they have an obligation to provide service to people in need, sans strings attached. I don't have the money nor the time to chit-chat with a therapist once a week. This place acts as if you're their employee--not what I need when trying to manage a mental disorder.

Avoid this place if you possibly can--Your doctor works for you, not the other way around.
