Brian Matthews treats his clients with care, compassion and wisdom. His ability to be present and consistent provides his clients with something to lean into when they may be experiencing a lack of stability or anchor elsewhere. I have known him professionally for 14 yrs and this man far exceeds any therapist with whom I have ever worked. He honors his word and genuinely cares about people so his clients benefit from those personal and rare character traits. He is a father and husband with much experience to share which only deepens the compassion and wisdom he can offer. He is well read, diversely cultured and humble which adds to his perspective on life and is open minded with clear discernment when discussing any topic, His style as a therapist is not overbearing at all but still anchoring, as one finds his/her way through whatever transformational chapter in which they find themselves.
I wish he was still practicing in Cali... you all in Austin are lucky to have him!
