Dahn Yoga and Holistic Fitness is a modernized version of ancient Korean and Taoist practices designed to strengthen and circulate 'ki' or 'life energy' for a healthy body and mind. From a Western medical perspective, Dahn exercises like tapping, stretching, breathing and meditating on the sensations of the body serve to improve blood flow, posture, and to activate the body's natural rest, relaxation and recuperation functions. This practice can help to increase the awareness and functionality of the body along with greater control over the mind. Generally it is good for students of all ages and most physical conditions.
