Lynn Goyette is an amazing and insightful therapist--completely nonjudgmental, sympathetic (but not overly so), realistic, and competent. Her approach can be very flexible, but she prefers to focus on psychodynamic bio-psychotherapy, which very clearly treats the mind and body as one functional unit with an inseparable connection.

This technique involves the exploration of how one's feelings manifest in a physical sense, the goal being that, once that connection is identified, this exploration may become more comprehensive, i.e., the feelings themselves will be more "available," as it were, for a deeper understanding, leading to improved understanding, coping, and potential resolution.

Ms. Goyette seems to be "right there" with you throughout your session (as opposed to the "lip-service" response detected when dealing with some other therapists). She is a dedicated and resolute guide, and will be able to assist individuals and couples, in a non-gender-, non-orientation-biased manner to look toward a better future.
