Bridgewell is a non-profit organization that strengthens communities by providing an unmatched range of social and human services that empower people with life challenges to live safe, self-directed and productive lives. Bridgewell provides more than 100 programs across 23 communities throughout the North Shore and Merrimack Valley, serving more than 6,250 people annually and employing nearly 1,400 individuals. Bridgewell is also an industry leader in developing innovative offerings in response to unmet or emerging needs.
We are committed to helping people, from those with autism to those with substance use disorders, become engaged members of their communities. Support is delivered through community housing, day programs, outpatient treatment, recovery services, education and employment training.
ServicesBehavioral Health: Comprehensive treatment for children and adults challenged with psychiatric and sometimes developmental disabilities. Bridgewell services include outpatient treatment, medication management, counseling, education, evaluation, along with other support.
Recovery: Each person with substance use disorder requires a different mix of services, including counseling, community and recovery housing and job placement. Bridgewell works in coordination with area hospitals, the criminal justice system and community agencies to identify people in need and put them on the path to recovery.
