I saw her once for depression, PTSD, and maybe insomnia too. She put me on prazosin.
Some time later I went to see her again and she foisted me off on a nurse practitioner. I saw someone else for counseling, who said I was beyond her level of expertise and then refused to see me any more. I tried to see Halverson again, who would have had more experience than a therapist with dissociative issues, and she refused to see me and at her direction she refused anyone else at MatSu Regional to treat me with either medication or counseling, saying their legal department blackballed me essentially. So, this is an entire facility I can never go back to, and I credit Halverson for this. All because I had blackouts from trauma and a history of violence 30 years ago.
