I decided to go to her on recommendation of my mother. Unfortunately, Ms. Ingram made the grave mistake of holding her hand out and asking me for the "check" in a one word question as if that was all she was interested in. She NEVER gave me my full "50 minute hour" She would always slice 10 minutes off each end and demand a check after each appointment as if that was what she was waiting for. This woman has most definitely put me off to seeking further counsel. If that is the way therapists treat their patients, I'd be better off seeking free advice from friends and family than talking to any therapist. I had pretty bad feelings about therapy in the first place, and this woman ensured me of my bad feelings and quickly turned me off to seeking further therapy from her. I would NOT recommend going to her: she only seems interested in the money, she doesn't have a degree in psychology, I think she's out of her element and just in it for the $$$$$$. I hope this review isn't taken lightly, because this is a true experience I had about a few months prior to writing this. I felt so turned off by her demanding money I felt I should alert other folks before they go wasting their money on somebody who obviously isn't qualified to do what she does. All she did was nod her head, write things down, then recommend I go to more therapy at a specific place (almost like she's receiving an incentive for it) I find when people like that are around, they need to be called out because they are not there to help people in my honest opinion, just there to make money.
