Carolyn is unlike other therapists I've seen in NYC insofar as she is able to address deep, long-term issues that require some thawing, but also provide insightful tactical advice about how to handle the every day stressers of life. She helps you draw your own conclusions, recognize patterns of thinking an behavior, and she will challenge you to look inward with courage. Smart therapist.

I have seen 2 other therapists before beginning treatment with Carolyn. After a short period of time I could immediately tell the difference. She is brilliant as a therapist but also open and accessible as a person. I have now treatment with her for some time and I can say that the changes I have made and improvements in my life are as a result of my time and work with Carolyn.
