It was impossible to get an appointment at their office. My daughter saw Dr. Penland and was satisfied. When I called to make an appointment for ADHD testing they refused to see me, unless I paid $900.00 up front, because they had a problem with our Insurance. We have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Our insurance does except her in our plan and will pay for testing that needs to be done. The lady I spoke to, she did not give me a name, even said they may have coded it wrong. Duh! If you code things wrong insurance will not pay. My son was tested for ADHD with a doctor out of out network which we had to pay for and the bill came no where near $900.00 I strongly suggest patients find another doctor one more reasonable with the prices.
