Steve Siler is a good choice as a therapist for almost anyone because of his extensive training and superb listening skills. But he is an extraordinary resource for highly creative artists with their unique unbalanced and high-strung personalities. Steve has deep experience and insight into the unusual challenges of the creative life, including all sorts of borderline abnormal or unusual mental processes and behaviors. He understands that the creative life offers a different paradigm and calls for different insights and adjustments.

In my case, I walked into his office carrying the diagnosis of many of my acquaintances: "This guy is nuts." Steve helped me to see that I was wired differently in order to be creative. He helped me to adjust not to some social norm, but to a highly functional creative space.

He is a remarkably talented fellow, and I feel blessed to have worked with him.
