I read the previsous review and was shocked. Dr Teague is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced psychologists in Fresno. He has been working with my son for several years. Perhaps the author of the unflattering comment likes working with therapists who tell her what to do. That is not therapy, thats a class, or a lesson. Dr Teague uses psychodynamic orientation, where therapists are merely facilitators for individual growth. He will not be directive (thank god), encourages independent and assetive thinking, and does not have any predefined structure or personal motives and goals except that which the client wants for himself. It is a more involved long term therapy that is intelligent, awareness and wisdom oriented, one that requires significantly more skills than ordinary Cognitive Behavioral Therapy where the therapist is considered a Mr-Know-All and imposes his will on the client.

Dr Teague is extremely helpful, extremely patient (my son has a very hectic schedule and has to re-schedule almost on a weekly basis and he has never complained. He always returns calls, is dedicated to his work with my son, has shows high sense of commitment to my son, which is rare in the industry . He is extremely ethical and honest - which also is very rare in this industry.

It wasn't easy to find parking at their office, but I eventually found a spot. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit.. They definitely weren't easy to reach in an emergency. Most of the time I was there, I felt pretty ignored. They didn't want to listen to any of my input or concerns. Treatment seemed directionless. Very hard to get this psychologist to respond to anything,
