She is a disgrace as a "therapist". Its really a shame that people like this are allowed to practice. She doesn't have that many patients which is why she was available. At the time I was in "therapy" she charged $95 and hour. She took a weak, wounded desperate person and let them with little to no trust in any mental health providers. I thank God every day that with the help of a wise friend that I eventually had the strength to leave this horrific person. The whole experience reminded me of the Stockholm syndrome. She held up a lawsuit for 2 years and cost me tens of thousand of dollars in additional legal fees. She disrespects her patients by not giving them the chance to make their own decisions and manipulates them to stay with her by giving a hug which is totally unprofessional according to every professional I told . At the time I came from an abusive family and therefore I was a weak person and starving for some form of kindness. She obviously manipulated me because she did not have enough patients. She took personal phone calls during the appointments. I am so sorry that I ever had the misfortune of meeting her. This response is NOT left with any malicious intent. It is simply stated to protect the public. I reported her to the board of social work examiners who did nothing. The told me that they do not monitor the "professionals" practice. I would suggest talking to trusted friend or close relative.. This particular "therapist" takes advantage of her patients. I remember when my insurance changed she did not want to take it even after quite some time. She is manipulative and ruthless. She didn't help whatsoever but as a weak person I could not leave even though she was emotionally abusing me I did not understand that at the time I was being controlled. She encouraged me to see a doctor who was saying sexual things to me. Saying that she would not be offended with a dr who used word such as "laid" "screwed" and told me that I am as " attractive as Marilyn Monroe" and he wanted a "sexual relationship with me" I am sure there are some qualified therapists out there but find strength and joy within yourself you must be very careful who you reach out for. One would think that one day she would apologize to me but I imagine she knows the damage she caused and probably believes I would never forgive her. By the way I found this site when I was putting in a review for a good therapist I saw for a year. There is much more to say but not enough space. I beg you to get help elsewhere.
