There is definitely a scam going on here. My son needed help but we were shuffled around to several people to "access the problem". We were told that had to be done to see if he qualified to see a Dr. We were also told there would be no charge to be accessed. Never saw a Dr., therapist or any other professional. My son received no help at all. ONE YEAR LATER we receive a bill for $348.00 for the accessment. Billing says they bill quarterly??? Why ONE YEAR LATER??? Was told to bad you don't know the name of the person at the desk who told you no charge. If we had been billed in a timely manor we could have gone straight back to the person we spoke with at the desk to dispute the charge. Again... WHY ONE YEAR LATER??? Billing said it doesn't matter what we say. This is a huge scam, we received absolutely no help and now we are being strong armed by Waccamaw Mental Health. The public needs to be warned, this is very fraudulent.

This was a very pleasant visit and my therapist came out immediately without any waiting time. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable. The outpatient services supervisor, EDWARD ROBINSON was above and beyond helpful! He processed my request immediately, appeared genuinely interested in my situation and made sure that I had left with all of my documents. His presence and demeanor are a tremendous asset to this facility. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you!
