Road to Bliss is a wholeness center in Winston Salem, NC offering psycho-spiritual consultation and yoga classes. Our center is founded on two core beliefs that guide our programs and services.
The first is that no matter where you are in your journey, you are on the Road to Bliss.
The other is that Greatness lies within each of us, without exception.
Our psycho-spiritual consultation integrates practical psychological and recovery approaches with the teachings of yoga philosophy, Judeo-Christianity and other spiritual traditions. This consultation is designed to assist clients in identifying and removing the obstacles that are in their way from living a life that reflects their True Nature.
While these one-on-one conversations are effective tools for healing, our bodies are invaluable sources of information about and avenues for emotional and spiritual recovery. Because of that we offer private and group yoga classes taught with the intention of powerfully grounding students in their bodies while awakening an experience of peace, vitality and connection in all realms of Being.
At Road to Bliss we are not only committed to the personal evolution of our students. We also seek to contribute to the evolution of our community.
To that end, we offer weekly group "good karma" yoga classes, taught by teachers who volunteer their time. With the intention of making yoga affordable to all who seek it, the class fee is a suggested donation of $5. In deciding what fee is right for themselves, we respectfully ask that students practice dana (generous giving or letting go). In other words, if you are able to give more, please do! 80% of the funds collected for our "good karma" classes are given to The Welcome Table, a community effort through the Shalom Project that feeds the hungry in Winston Salem.
This service we offer is aligned with the yogic teaching that when we feed others with love, it awakens kundalini, the divine feminine energy that sits dormant at the base of the spine. When awakened, this energy evokes an experience of Bliss and Oneness in the recipient.
With that in mind, tea and fresh fruit are always available in our lounge-boutique for anyone visiting our center.
Fellow Travelers, may your journey be a blessed one. We hope to meet you on the Road to Bliss.
