Emma Wood was extremely unprofessional. I made it very clear to her that I was there for INDIVIDUAL therapy, not couples therapy. During my first appointment, she kept telling me I needed to leave my husband as I told her my story. The next week, my husband made an appointment with her and she shared information from my session with him without my consent. At my second appointment, she advocated hard for him, repeatedly telling me how much he loves me and wants to work things out - this is after one appointment with me and one with him. She shared information from his session with me. She violated my rights to privacy and is easily swayed in the moment. She lacks critical thinking skills and a session with her feels more like a gossip session than actual therapy. I would give her zero stars if I could.

My wife and I visited Grant Wood for several sessions. I found him to be a series of contradictions: legalistic, yet NEVER on time, "holy" yet judgmental and highly concerned about protecting his boundaries while violating mine.
