As soon as I walked in the receptionist had me in the doctor's room in 5 minutes. It was actually a very comfortable room and I did not feel anxious at all. I have used chiropractors before and expected the usual 15 minute wait and a 5 minute adjustment but when Dr. April came in she asked me questions that other chiropractors never did. It felt like she actually gave a damn about my pain.

After my adjustment it still hurt but, after some ice bags and a few glasses of water, it felt like she actually did me some good. She did say I had to come back in a week to finish the adjustment. I did and she said I was good to go unless I thought I needed another adjustment. A couple other chiropractors I have seen wanted me to come back two to three times a week to "keep me in correct alignment" which was unaffordable to me.

I really like this doctor and the way she treats you like a person not a number. If you are not happy with your chiropractor it is worth giving her a try.
