Please read to understand this guy's integrity or better yet lack of integrity. I should have written this review awhile ago, but this unethical chiropractor came up today so I want to make sure you are informed. There are many better chiropractors or osteopaths.

I've been a healthcare professional for 15 years and have worked with several healthcare providers and Dr. Stackwood has an unethical practice. I decided to see Dr. Stackwood only because of his Groupon for a massage.

On the day of my appointment I returned his office manager's call to confirm my appointment. My only question was where to park. A fundamental question. On the phone, his office manager responded that I could park out front of their office on Geary Street and that she could feed the meter (meter allows payment up to 1 hour) or park around Post and Sutter streets. I was running 5 minutes late and parked outside their office as she advised. I handed extra quarters to his office manager who noted the time of 3:50pm and she said she would feed the meter. A kind gesture. I did not ask her to do this. I only accepted her offer and trusted her.

So I met with Dr. Stackwood and I wasn't impressed at all. You can find much better. Then I went to my massage. Immediately after my massage the same office manager told me my car was towed. I thought she was joking. It turns out patients should not park there from 4-6pm. I should have looked, but when I asked they said to park out front. You would think they would know, right?

I called Stackwood and no response. I emailed the office and no response. Finally after a couple of attempts he got on the phone. The total tow away fee was $584 and I asked if his office would pay half and I accepted my responsbility. He said no and that it was my fault.

Look, you don't want this type of character putting his hands on you; he is very unethical. I'm not the only one with a bad experience. Read the other reviews on YELP - you are warned.
