Dr. Norman Weinzweig, Founder of the Chicago Institute for Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation, is a reconstructive plastic hand surgeon who specializes in the treatment of fingertip injuries, multiple digit replantations, and mutilated hand reconstruction.

Dr. Weinzweig treats patients from the Chicago, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa areas.

Board certified in hand surgery and plastic surgery Dr. Norman Weinzweig is highly regarded by his peers for his clinical experience in acute and chronic care of severely traumatized hands. Norman Weinzweig, MD received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Weinzweig completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center and his residency in Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
