I wanted to give a no star rating but had to pick at lease one star. had taken all our animals to dr hanks for years only bc he was 'close to home'. had very, very bad experience there with one of our dogs. good friend of mine had very tragic experience taking her dog to him, and she was also a long time customer of his. maybe very early in his career he really cared about animals but you would never know it. he was cold and uncaring. we just could not continue going there and had to switch vets and thank goodness we did, our dog would have been dead under his 'care'. have not, and would not recommend dr hanks to anyone.
