Taylor-Oldfield Veterinary Clinic was officially established in 1981. Our clinic consists of three veterinarians, Dr. Margaret Bowman, Dr. Ladd Oldfield, and Dr. Melanie Secrest. Our compassionate doctors strive to provide accessible, high quality veterinary care to their clients while demonstrating the highest level of honestly and integrity. Taylor-Oldfield Veterinary Clinic believes in offering the highest quality care for your pet while remaining affordable. Our team works with clients to provide the best health care, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic testing for their pets. Our facility is well equipped with in-house diagnostic capabilities. We recently upgraded our radiograph equipment (x-ray) to Computed Radiography, which allows us to get faster and digital results of x-rays to better serve our clients.

We customize health wellness exams and vaccinations to you and your pet’s individual needs and concerns. Each visit includes a comprehensive physical exam and consultation to discuss any concerns you may have about the overall health status of your pet. We use some of the industry’s safest and most effective vaccines..
Medical & Surgical Services:
Taylor-Oldfield Veterinary Clinic veterinarians are knowledgeable and offer valuable medical care, elective and non-elective surgeries. We customize anesthesia and surgical protocols for your pet. Our goal is to maximize your pets’ comfort and safety, while minimizing any stress before, during, and after procedures.
Nutrition & Pet Food:
With the wide variety of pet food products available, it is easy to become confused on what foods are best your pet. Let our trained staff explain pet food options and help in the choosing the correct product. Proper nutrition can make a significant difference to your pet’s health and wellness. Our clinic also offers quality foods and prescription diets that you may need for your pet. By providing you pet with the highest quality foods, you pet will be healthier therefor lowering the need of unexpected veterinary visits and lower yearly veterinary bills.
Boarding & Day Care:
We provide our clients boarding and day care for their small animal pets. All of our temporary residents are well cared for while having the unique benefit of being under veterinary supervision.
Parasite Control & Products:
Our staff is knowledgeable in the latest and best internal and external parasitic control programs. Our facility offers accurate and comprehensive heartworm and tick-borne disease monitoring, such as Lyme, Anaplasma, and Ehrichia diseases. Fecal screenings, along with effective parasite control products, are available. We also care a variety of products to aid in control of heartworms, fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. We can offer a customized program to fit your budget and needs.
In-home Care, Hospice, & In-Home Euthanasia:
For those clients that are unable to bring their love ones to our clinic, we can come to your home to provide routine care, end-of-life services, or in-home euthanasia. Hospice can include a wide variation of services, including pain management, fluid therapy, and bandage and wound care.
After-hours and Emergency Care:
We offer our clients emergency care for problems that arise once the clinic is closed. Emergencies can range from lacerations, poison ingestion, hit-by-car, or when you pet is exhibiting symptoms that are not normal and concerning to you, the owner.

We can provide medical and surgical services and routine care, such as vaccinations, dehorning, castrations, and hoof trimming. Consultations and customized herd health protocols are available.
Bovine:
Our clinic is more than just a pharmacy. Wither you are a hobby farmer or large scale rancher, we can provide you with services that will help you maintain a healthy herd. At Taylor-Oldfield Veterinary Clinic, we offer both medical and surgical services to our bovine clients. We are capable of handling small numbers of cattle at our clinic facility and offer on the farm care for large numbers.
Equine:
Routine care is important to the overall health of your horse. We provide our equine clients with customized vaccine and parasite control programs. Dental exams and teeth floatation is available to maximize your horse’s comfort and overall wellness. We do offer minor surgical services, such as castrations and laceration repair.
