Dr. "Bob" Vander Pol 4311 212th St SW MLT WA 98043 Affordable Vet Clinic Lynnwood: Easy to get an appointment with them. The staff was nice to us, but seemed not very knowledgeable and were unprofessional. Office smelled terrible and was dirty to the point of seeming unsanitary. Seemed like a low budget set up to the extreme, no separate areas, just a large office divided by banks of kennels, blankets draped over them, visible from the front. Staff were noted to be spraying chemicals into kitten kennels with kittens in them to clean them. Also noted to be eating their lunch on the front counter. Very concerning to have an animal there for surgery when it looks like there is no clear area for surgeries, or even an exam room. Floor was painted and dirty, sticky from careless mopping. Bathroom was crowded with equipment and dirty instruments in the sink. Overall a very frightening experience. Would have walked out if not for my positive past experience with this vet. When we did see him, after, he was cranky and was fairly unpleasant to us. I went there as he was the only one in my geographic area able to do the simple procedure for my dog, and because I had my dogs cared for by him 8 years previous in the Mukilteo address, and that was a clean nice practice. Not that cheap. $30 extra fro pain shot not included with surgery! Niot that cheap either, my cost $300. After leaving I was praying my dog had not been mistreated and would be okay. It felt like I had been in some illegal underground or 3rd world country clinic. ***DO NOT SHARE MY EMAIL WITH THIS VET OFFICE***
