We took our cat to Dayton Williams for a teeth cleaning and a tooth extraction. During the procedure the our loving cat ended up with a torn trachea. Now as of now this sounds like a negative review but as I worked for a vet for two years and now I am a Registered Nurse and my wife a respiratory therapists....we both know this is a common risk (in fact it happens a lot to some degree...but the benefit outweighs the risk). The fact of the matter is that when it came to crunch time; Dr Williams came through. Our cat received above and beyond care to get him through this critical time. I tallied the amount of care and the expertise and equipment to get our cat back to his evil self. I was prepared to take out a loan for the cost. We took him home with a great understanding of what to do. We were well prepared by Dr Williams and his staff on what to expect and what to do. When the bill came.....well lets just say we paid for a tooth extraction and teeth cleaning. The real cost for a what is a common risk factor was absent. Working with a top quality vet in the past, I would say I am able to give a professional opinion on Dr Williams Care. I believe Dr Williams gives above and beyond care when it comes to taking care of animals (including reptiles/ birds and common house pets). Cost for care is generally a better value but the care he and his staff give is at a premium. Thank you Dr Williams for the care you have given my animals in the past and I look forward to working with you in the future. Corey/ Candy and Einstein (the cat).
