Dr. Abigail Hirsch specializes in working with couples and families. She helps clients learn the skills that enable healthy, happy, smooth relationships, whether between spouses, parents and children, with in-laws or at work. Dr. Hirsch combines her psycho-educational, cognitive-behavioral, skills-based approach with insight-based therapies to help individuals and couples use their past experiences as a means to improve their future. Dr. Hirsch also leverages rapid-change techniques for alleviating depression and anxiety to enable clients to quickly progress towards their goals.
Some specific areas of expertise include parenting challenges, school refusal, childhood anxiety, difficult life-decisions, high-tension marriages, pre-divorce reconciliation and post-partum depression.
