This program is motivated by meeting quotas to fulfill their grant awards and affiliation with the department of children youth and families. Too few families are actually helped, most are not only new to being parents, I found a number of participants to be either new to the state of new mexico, new to the country of the united states, many had difficulty understanding the english language, and no not all were from south of the boarder. Supposidly lisensed counselors failed to report dangerous threats to child's health and wellbeing. Thank you so very much Los Cumbres. (lawsuit pending). They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate.
