At time in my life I needed it most, they helped. No judgement, caring and after checking on other agencies, very cost effective. They give me hope for a better future and that all things are not as bad as it may seem.

Money pit and scam. Beware! Here's the gist. Ok, initial assesment, $50. They'll set you up for 16 sessions at $20 each. Once your finished, they withhold your certificate unless you sign a document for random urine screens at $20 each. You have to call them daily for the screens. If you don't pay, you get rejected and your probation gets violated. The sessions start late by usually 15 or so minutes and end about 10 minutes early. They are group sessions consisting of others on probation, who can't afford the prices as well. The staff is very unprofessional and the counselor, I had Maria, had to be calmed down several times after losing her temper with a man who had mental disabilities. We think the guy was being cornered verbally and he kept smiling. She lost her nerve and continued to call to her angels while fuming. Mind you, the class was anger management/ drug and alcohol class. The bathroom is unkept and is probably an Osha violation waiting to happen. So, they want your money or you get violated and trust me, they will deny helping you if you don't have the dough. Look somewhere else for true counseling by professionals with better degrees. Licensed social workers that brag about the hood instead of giving proper care to the needs should not practice in this field. 1star!
