Dr Vo treated my children with handling a divorce between myself and my ex wife. I heard several good things about her and she is reportedly a good therapist. My ex wife was seeing Dr Vo (I of course didnt know this at first) for 7 months even though she also was seeing my children at the same time. When I looked this up with the American Psychological Association, this was not recommended, but also not unethical- as long as all parties involved were aware of the dual relationship. I was not notified of this dual relationship until accidentally a year and a half after my children had been seeing her. She did not listen to information I presented her with as she was already decided by spending seven months of therapy with my ex. It was really unfortunate the way things worked out. I was also upset that - and even Dr Vo admitted, my children were not making progress after 2 full years of therapy. She made recommendations about the children because my ex requested them of her. Unfortunately she made these recommendations to last 'six months post divorce' which lead my ex to drag the divorce out to last over 2 and a half years. I have finally gone to court and had my children transferred to another psychologist, with a legal injunction against Dr Vo. My children have only been with this new psychologist for a few months, but it seems it will take a very long time to undo the damage that Dr Vo allowed during her two years being their psychologist. I am sure she has many good qualities, but in my case, she certainly took sides and was not able to see the whole picture. I also feel she was extremely unethical in that I was unware of her multiple relationships, as well as not recommending a different psychologist when my children were not making progress after 2+ years of therapy. She also was not quick to respond to my phone calls or emails, notify me of my kids appointments when my ex would not, and took quite a long time to send me my kid's progress reports when I requested. I would not recommend her as a therapist.


They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.
