This is about Sara Rhodes PA, My daughter transferred to this office and had been drug free for 3 years. Ms Rhodes prescribed Ritalin to her WHY WHY I do not know. This drug is a scheduled 2 narcotic. She was found quilty of 2 counts of domestic volence with 3 different drugs in her system this week. Well, Ritalin got her back to being a drug addict again. I called and left message with office staff about her abusing Ritalin about 1 month ago; Ms Rhodes PA RENEWED HER SCRIPT. Shame Shame on you!

This maybe the worst place to get psychiatric services in the Roanoke valley. There are plenty of other places you can been treated. Avoid Dr Desai and his staff. I work in the mental health field and have had to deal with him several times for how he has treated clients. One example: he dismissed a client from his services because he received information from a outside source (another client) letting him know that one of his patients was selling his medication and becaue he was unable to refrain from drinking alcohol. This client was not selling his medication as His mental worker was able to observe it daily and this client had checked himself into a detox program on his own and has been sober since getting out. Dr Deasi decided that the word of another client was more important then his patient and the word of a mental professional in the community. He was discharged from the practiced with no evidence of doing anything he was accused of. Avoid this place!!!
