PRMA and Dr. Chrysoupoulo are literally as good as it gets. Dr. Chrys is a truly lovely human being. And he's everything you would want in a surgeon because not only does he have wonderful bedside manner (and a great sense of humor), but he's a perfectionist. He has a fascinating training/residency background which I was unaware of until after my reconstructive surgery but it makes perfect sense, this perfectionism. Not only am I *incredibly* pleased with his work (and professional demeanor) but my oncologist, who is old school, cannot seem to stop himself from commenting to me at every follow-up appointment how "he sees many breasts day in -day out, and this is some of the best work I have ever seen. Please give him my compliments..." He has said this at minimum three times, even if he wants to stop himself from saying it, I don't believe he can. There's no other surgeon I would want to operate on me, which is saying a lot because really, who wants to need a surgeon? Regardless, I feel my reconstruction was more or less pristine. The entire PRMA operation is geared towards the comfort and healing for survivors, with a focus on living beyond your diagnosis, beyond your reconstruction, and getting back to your whole self again. I couldn't appreciate him or them more. HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. Chrysopoulo and the team at PRMA were a God send for me during the most difficult time of my life. I had a double mastectomy followed by immediate DIEP reconstruction. Dr. C was highly recommended to me by a friend who was a nurse administrator at the hospital used by PRMA doctors. She told me his work was amazing and that his patients had the fewest post-surgical issues. When I did my pre-surgery blood work, the nurses there also told me similar stories and these were all nurses who do not work directly with PRMA patients (PRMA has their own staff of nurses that work with the reconstruction patients and they have their own wing in the hospital for PRMA patients). After all the good things I heard from hospital staff, I felt much more comfortable with my choice and they were right. Dr. C's work is incredible and he is such a wonderful person. He truly cares about his patients and made sure that I had all my questions answered and that I was happy with the results. The whole team at PRMA were wonderful and caring and treated me with such kindness and respect. I highly recommend the team at PRMA and I'm partial to Dr. C because of the work that he did for me but I know many others who are just as partial to their doctor from PRMA. It is a great group.
