In 1992 Dr. Kenneth Baum moved his Clinical Psychology practice and his family to the Conejo Valley, where he and his wife raised their family and supported their children's grandparents through life's transitions. His philosophy has always been family and community oriented. For the past 25 years as a psychologist, his therapeutic approach incorporates humor and spirituality, and personal life experiences in therapy for my clients, in which his clients are partners in their own treatment team.
My specializations include psychological assessments for ADD/ADHD, Learning Disorders, Conservatorship, and Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgery candidates. His therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adjustment disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders, and life skills development/planning. I also also provide hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques for pain management.
