Physicians Weight Loss Centers has over thirty years of experience helping nearly 2 million people lose excess weight nationwide. This is a new organization in Michigan.
Our weight loss programs are different from any other on the market - they are the most COMPREHENSIVE treatment programs available - we ensure safe, healthy weight loss and teach the patients the proper lifestyle and behavioral skills to keep the weight off.
Each patient is offered a free initial consultation to understand his/her individual weight loss goals or needs, review medical and nutrition history, establish objective weight and health parameters, and design an individualized treatment plan that fits the needs of the patient.
We offer structured behavioral guidance classes to teach good eating habits and a positive attitude that will last a lifetime.
We have formulated a 16-week plan for weight loss followed by 52 weeks of monitored weight maintenance.
We care deeply about the health of each patient. Beginning with the initial consultation and continuing throughout the weight loss and maintenance programs, we check blood screening labs, ECG, blood pressure and pulse monitoring, and body composition analysis. Most importantly, each enrolled patient receives an initial and final physician history and physical exam and three nutrition counseling sessions with the physician to ensure appropriate and healthy weight loss.
