Melissa Byrd, LMT graduated from Humanities Center - Institute of Allied Health located in St. Petersburg, FL in 2004. Her continuing education includes traveling to Thailand for certification in Thai massage, medical massage workshops, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi training, working as an apprentice under an athletic trainer for college sports teams, and most recently Ashiatsu training, which utilizes feet to perform the massage.

Melissa's philosophies include customizing each massage to fi the person's needs at the present time and making every stroke count. No cookie-cutter massages here. Every person's body is different and requires individualized treatment. She encourages feedback before, during and after a treatment to help improve on the goals of future massages.

Melissa is the owner and sole proprietor of Bodyworks For You, which has been located within Vero Beach for over 10 years. The office is located within a quiet & beautifully decorated wellness center.

Melissa Byrd, LMT in Vero Beach, FL is an excellent massage therapist. She is very skilled, listens to you and has the strength that is required to help you. I have been to more than 10 other LMT’s in the past. She is the best that I have ever been to and I am glad that I found her. No more searching is needed now. I have old injuries that I incurred at earlier stages in my life that only massage therapy can aide. Lower back, neck, shoulders, arms and knees to name a few. Melissa is able to adapt the massage therapy to the needs that I have. She is very pleasant, positive and professional. Her office is very nice, conveniently located, and peaceful. You do not have to look any further. I highly recommend Melissa Byrd for your health needs.
