I was referred to Jackson Clinics by my primary doctor for neck and lower back pain. The team at Jackson clinic was fabulous! Rob, the DPT, met me each time I had an appointment to evaluate how I was doing and provided excellent techniques to strengthen my back and tips to avoid causing pain. He was instrumental in helping me get an ergonomic desk at work. I can now stand and sit in front of my computer which has been great for both neck and back! After meeting with him, I worked with the PT exercise staff who are just a delight to work with and always very professional and friendly. Melissa and Kelly were patient, professional, and provided great exercise routines. They were hands on and explained what exercises I could do at home and continue to do after PT. Lastly, I was always greeted by big smiles from Shantelle and Deb at the front desk. They answered any questions I had about insurance and worked with me to schedule appointments around my work schedule. I would highly recommend Jackson Clinics in Centreville!
My first time relying on a physical therapist. I workout alot and study the science as a hobby. I thought I new the majority of what I needed to know about sports medicine. The staff that I worked with gave me definitive guidance that helped me with my shoulder pain. They articulated their diagnosis by using a physical model cutout and by demonstrating exercise movements themselves. They helped relieve my shoulder and gave me further knowledge in the with topics of sports science relating directly to my injury. They do well in gauging and addressing your abilities and limits according to pain lvls and your understanding.
