I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Oregon and Washington. I received my Bachelors degree from Utah State University and my Masters degree in Social Work from Washington University, St. Louis, where my focus was Mental Health and Health issues with a specialization in Family Therapy. I did my clinical training at Washington University School of Medicine under the supervision of Michael Harris, PhD. I received additional training specializing in anxiety disorders from Robert McLellarn, PhD at the Anxiety and Panic Treatment Center, LLC. I have worked with individuals and families for over 10 years. I was the primary therapist on two family therapy research studies at Washington University School of Medicine. I was part of a transitions program in Portland, Oregon for adolescents with type 1 diabetes who were adjusting to college and work settings. I was an integral member of the group that build the curriculum for the adolescents and their families. I worked at Legacy Children's Hospital in the pediatric diabetes clinic for 5 years. I provided counseling services and resources to families. I was a guest lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis and Lewis & Clark College. I currently work with children, adolescents, adults and families who are challenged by anxiety disorders. Some of these disorders include;Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Pediatric OCD, Panic Disorder, Health Anxiety Disorder(s), Specific phobias, Social Anxiety Disorder, Selective Mutism, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Anxiety related to medical conditions. I offer various services to meet the needs of the individual or family. In addition to individual and family therapy, I offer Intensive programs focused on anxiety, parent workshops, and groups for children and adolescents. I provide consulting and education to schools, medical clinics and mental health agencies. I collaborate with schools and mental health professionals to provide the best treatment for my clients and their families.
