We are an independent private practice of mental health professionals dedicated to helping people affected by a chronic physical illness. We have expertise in working with people diagnosed with digestive conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and eosinophilic diseases such as eosinophilic esophagitis. Taking care of your mental well-being is as important as taking care of your physical well-being. Our providers can help you cope with your diagnosis, manage your medical treatment, and improve your quality of life. We also work with people who are trying to improve healthy habits and manage their weight, or who are considering bariatric surgery. Dr. Taft graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2009. Ms. Horgan obtained her masters degree in clinical social work from Loyola University in 2011 and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).

Dr. Taft completed her internship at the Jesse Brown Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chicago, then completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Psychosocial Research in GI at Northwestern University.
