The benefits of Seifukujitsu, a therapeautic modality rooted in Japanese and Hawaiian traditions, include: stimulating circulation, reducing pain, increasing mobility, and promoting well-being. Seifukujitsu utilizes the fingers, palms, forearms and elbows along many of the body's muscle channels recognized in Asian healing practices to help restore the body to a state of balance.
About Heather Isaacs Royce:
Heather is a Certified Massage Practitioner of Seifukujitsu Restorative Bodywork. She first learned about this style of bodywork when she became a student of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu over five years ago. After experiencing the restorative benefits of Seifukujitsu for herself, Heather became interested in learning more and offering this wisdom to the people in her life which ultimately led to the opening of Napa Seifukujitsu Restorative Bodywork.
For the past six years, Heather has worked as a hospice chaplain supporting people at the end of life. Training in Seifukujitsu only served to deepen Heather's awareness of the relationship between mind, body, and spirit and provide another powerful means of serving others by helping to restore the balance of life-force in our bodies.
