I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have a desire to help others to achieve their personal and professional goals. My counseling style is warm and engaging. I have worked with clients for over 10 years to identify their personal strengths, areas of need, to set goals, create action plans, explore resources, and lastly, evaluate, and follow-up on their progress. I specialize in addictions counseling. Clients have learned to address challenges, manage stress, emotional issues, develop coping strategies, practice self-care, engage in conflict resolution, and problem solve.

I hold dual masters degrees in counseling psychology and religion. I have earned a Doctorate degree in Ministry (DMin). I am certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and licensed as a Minister in Hawaii. I engage in a combination of therapeutic approaches, such as person centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused brief counseling.
