Dr. Chaudhary is a wonderful physician and a superb surgeon. He has received highly specialized training and is an expert in dry eye syndrome, corneal transplantation, ocular surface reconstruction, and complicated cataract surgery including the use of iris and scleral-fixated intraocular lenses. He has several research interests including lamellar corneal transplantation surgery and the optimization of outcomes with the Boston Keratoprosthesis.
Dr. Chaudhary graduated Cum Laude from Duke University with degrees in both Biology and Economics in 2003. He next attended the Yale School of Medicine, where he was awarded the prestigious Parker Prize, given by the faculty to the medical student with the best qualities of a successful physician. Dr. Chaudhary stayed at the Yale School of Medicine for his ophthalmology residency, and while there he authored several book chapters and important research articles. Most recently, Dr. Chaudhary excelled in a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the prestigious University of Southern California, Doheny Eye Institute.
