Dr. John Kruger started his practice in Story City, Iowa in 1976. In 1980, he purchased Dr. Drummond’s practice in Ames, Iowa. In 1986, along with Dr. McClean, built a new optometric office, located at 201 10th Street, Ames, Iowa. Two years later, Dr. Kruger bought Dr. McClean’s practice, at his retirement. We also operate out of a second location, Des Moines Eye Care.
