Lori Monson founded Bradley & Monson Physical Therapy with her colleague and friend Maggie Bradley in 1981. She was previously a physical therapist at New York Hospital- Cornell. Lori became interested in physical therapy as a teenager after helping her father recover from hip replacement surgery. Lori loves working with people and the challenge of discovering the causes of injury and developing creative treatment programs so her patients can recover from their unique and often complex physical problems.

Lori was raised in Minnesota and has been a Manhattanite since 1978. She is politically active in her community and profession, and advocates for patients’ rights to physical therapy benefits. Lori is founding Co-Chair of the Alliance of Independent Physical Therapists of the New York Physical Therapy Association. Lori relaxes playing the cello, playing tennis and gardening.
