Seniors at Bellatage Assisted Living Center who require more assistance with activities of daily living will appreciate the support of our assisted living staff. Individuals may select from a variety of specialized services These services become a part of a tailored care plan that supports our residents as needed while allowing them to enjoy the greatest degree of independence. From educational sessions, crafts, and musical entertainment to shopping trips we will keep you busy while maintaining your interest of being independent.
Skilled Nursing Facility- Astoria Health and Rehab provides short-term, sub acute care and long term skilled nursing care for those who need help attaining or maintaining their highest physical, social and emotional well-being. In addition to these services Astoria offers a specialized rehabilitation community for seniors that seek short term rehab to home. Upon admissions to the unit a therapy team along with a doctor will asses your rehabilitation needs and develop a customized treatment plan. The plan will be implemented by a highly professional therapy team with your goals in mind When you're not with a therapist of down in the gym, rest and relax in your own private room and enjoy your favorite shows on a LCD TV or call a friend and share your progress...the phone service is free.
Independent Living- Coming in 2011 our three story independent apartments and suites will be designed for seniors who are still able to live independently. These spacious one or two luxurious bedroom apartments offer a variety of solutions for active seniors. Large lounges, recreational activities, cafe, wellness center and spa are just a few of the many amenities that will keep our guest busy and entertained. Residents will enjoy watching the sun rise from our outside terrace on an afternoon tea with a neighbor over-looking the Village campus. Then stroll through campus with a walking partner for exercise, fellowship and a view of the sunset. You are free to enjoy your privacy, or be as socially engaged as you wish. Stay tuned for future announcements and information concerning our independent senior living apartments.
Other medical services on campus include physician, and psychiatric consultation, podiatry, dental care, pain management and emergency services. Physical, occupational and speech therapists, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, social workers, activity therapists, hospice staff and case managers work closely with the patient and family to achieve a common goal of maximum dignity, function and well-being. This goal is to renew life's special moments through a continuum of care in an atmosphere of "being home with friends."
