The Bishop Street location is part of the Women’s Health Center and sees primarily (but not exclusively) women.
The chiropractic services at CHC can be provided WITHOUT MEDICAL REFERRAL for ALL patients; including Medicare and MediCAL.
Dr. Kasanoff addresses not only musculoskeletal pain & discomforts but also Nervous System dysfunctions that can effect other body systems. These could include, but are not limited to ear infections (especially in children), asthma, allergies or digestive issues. While chiropractic does not ‘treat’ these issues per se, spinal misalignments and their resultant Nervous System interference can be a component of these issues. Often, adding chiropractic care will allow the system to normalize and heal.
In this location, Dr. Kasanoff works with primarily (but not exclusively) with pregnant women; assisting them in normalizing pelvic function which can decrease pain, allow baby to find and optimal position in the pelvis and decrease complications and interventions during delivery. Chiropractic care is also a great adjunct for the pregnant woman that with headaches, allergies or other issues who wants to avoid medications.
