I specialize in helping the expectant father to feel safe and relaxed. I never take the father’s place-I am his assistant. By example I show the different physical and emotional comfort tools that most benefit the laboring woman. I am by your side the entire labor to comfort, teach and answer questions the two of you will have.
The strength and power to bring a baby into this world is within each of us. I am a coach, a counselor, an assistant, an educator, a confidante. I am a doula.

I assist women and laboring couples with all different birth goals. From intervention free births to births that use epidural relief to cesarean births and everything in between. We all have different backgrounds, motivations and needs. It is my job to encourage, educate and support- never to pass judgment. My birth package is $650. Included in this is:
• Complementary interview
• 2+ prenatal visits including foot massage. We discuss your birth goals, the mechanics of labor, comfort techniques, newborn procedures and breastfeeding.
• At 38 weeks I am on call to you 24/7 until the birth of your baby
• Acupressure massage after your due date
• I will join you on your "labor day" when you feel that you need me and stay with you through your labor and birth until 2 hours postpartum or when you no longer need my support
• During your labor I will utilize comfort techniques such as back and leg massage, counter pressure on your back and hips and a variety of ways that comfort you as you labor. I also teach several different breathing techniques. Depending on your preferences and needs we can also employ visualizations, affirmations, rebozo work and aroma therapy.
• Assistance with breastfeeding provided if requested
• After the birth when you and the baby are settled and comfortable I will pick up a meal for you and your partner from a restaurant close to the hospital or your home
• 1 postpartum visit
