I work with individuals, families, adults, teens, ages 10-75. I have been in practice for 16+ years and have specialization in Anxiety Disorders such as OCD, Trich. and Skin Picking, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Separation Anxiety, Fears and Phobias, Perfectionism, PTSD, Grief and Loss, and Religious OCD (Scrupulosity). I also work with families that are having relationship problems in the home. I am a certified CBT licensed Counselor with certification from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy at the Beck Institute. I also have certification as a NCC Counselor which means I am recognized as a counselor that supports the highest ethics and guidelines of counseling for my clients. Training for Anxiety Disorders comes from the OCD Foundation and Rogers Memorial Hospital which is one of the leading hospitals in the United States that treats anxiety disorders/OCD. Exposure and Response Therapy are used as a treatment for some anxiety disorders listed above. I provide a DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) skills-based approach working on Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation Skills along with other therapy skills and models. I offer Christian based counseling upon request.
