I truly love being a Psychologist and feel privileged to be a part of my patients' lives.
I see adults of all ages in my New York City psychotherapy practice, including working professionals, undergraduate and graduate students, and senior adults, all in a safe and supportive environment.
My style is an interactive one. It is important that you feel heard and understood.
I have particular expertise in working with attorneys as patients, and have a special understanding of their experiences.
My practice is LGBT-affirming and supportive. I welcome all members of this community in my practice.
I also enjoy working with people of the Jewish faith, or with those who identify as "spiritual," but who may not adhere to any formal religious beliefs.
Anxiety, depression, relationships, self esteem, life and career transitions, and identity issues are part of my focus, although I am also trained in and welcome assisting people in many other areas that we, as humans, experience.
I also focus on the very real "mind-body connections," especially when they relate to chronic pain issues and stress.
I work with you in gaining a deeper insight that fosters growth, well-being, and creativity.
I come from a psychoanalytic perspective, and also integrate cognitive work (working with the "thoughts" that affect your feelings) when helpful.
My objective is to work with you as a "whole person" — rather than just a "list of issues."
