Sunshine Perinatology is an American independent family-owned medical practice that got its start in Davenport, Polk County, Florida an underserved area with over 20+ years without the support of an MFM specialist, forcing Obstetricians in the area to send their high-risk patients to other cities approximately over 1 hour drive.

This shortage of MFM Specialists is a major problem for Florida and in the US. Fortunately, in spite of all the challenges that an independent medical practice has to face, Sunshine Perinatology has continued throughout time its efforts to expand in order to help in fulfilling the shortage.
