I arrived at the clinic and was notified by the medical assistant, Sabrina Sanchez, that she would be present for the exam. I informed her that that wouldn’t be necessary because I selected a female gynecologist and ascribe to a religious belief system that does permit me to expose myself to a chaperone or third party.

The doctor, Amani Zewail, entered the room and lied to me. She asserted that the California legislature required a chaperone to be present during all exams. I acquiesced and permitted the chaperone, but explained that I could not expose my genitalia to the chaperone under any circumstances.

When the exam began, the doctor allowed the chaperone to stand beside me in full view of my vaginal cavity which was exceedingly easy because I was not properly draped. During the exam , I raised up on one side , flailed my hands , and repeatedly asked the medical assistant to step back. At no point, did the doctor stop the procedure, render assistance, or check on my condition.

This conflict continued until the doctor attempted to silence me by and stating that the chaperone could not see me because the doctor claimed to have placed her head under the draping cloth. The very draping cloth that did not conceal my legs.

At this point, I became frightened, and considered standing up and running out of the room. I was, however, immobile because of the medical implement inserted in my body. I experienced an episode of disassociation so severe I left me body and fell silent. Even after becoming entirely silent and docile, the chaperone continued to peer into my vaginal cavity unimpeded by the doctor.
